Winners of the four main prizes at the 2000 Berlin Film Festival were as follows: –
Golden Bear (Best Picture) – Magnolia directed by Paul Thomas Anderson
Best Director – Milos Forman – Man on the Moon
Best Actor – Denzel Washington – The Hurricane
Best Actress – Bibiana Beglau & Nadja Uhl – Die Stille nach dem Schuß (The Legend of Rita)
